Monday, March 26^th, the Cleveland Indians host the Milwaukee Brewers in a preseason game as part of the Spring Training schedule, with the beginning of the season just a little over a week away, starting on March 26^th. This game is going to be at 4:05PM and it will be played at the Goodyear Ballpark, in Goodyear, Arizona. The other games that are to be played that day that we are featuring based upon their division titles last year including the Boston Red Sox and the Philadelphia Phillies, and the Miami Marlins taking on the Detroit Tigers.

In the American League Central we find the Cleveland Indians, with 80 wins and 82 losses giving them second place. When the season ended last year they were four and six and had lost the four most recent games that they had played. As for the Milwaukee Brewers, they come in at first in the National Lague Central with 96 wins and 66 losses. They ended up winning their most recent two games last year and went seven and three overall on the last ten. Dave Bush could not last long into the opening game of the Milwaukee Brewers and Cleveland Indians series. The Indians came out slugging and Bush was only able to last just over 3 innings. It was the continuation of a tough week for the Brewers and their fans who are looking to hold onto their very slim lead over the St. Louis Cardinals in the NL Central. The Brewers have been chasing the Cardinals all season long but have just recently taken over top spot in the division. How long they will be in the lead will depend a lot on how they stack up against the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday June 16^th.

The Indians are already playing the role of spoiler in many ways as they sit in dead least in the AL Central and trail the division leading Detroit Tigers by six games. The Indians entered the season with a lot of hope for big things, but young up and comers and veterans like Grady Sizemore and Victor Martinez have not been able to lead their team they way that they had hoped. The season has been full of ups and downs for the Indians as they have not been able to put together any consistency. The offense is there sometimes, and the pitching is there sometimes but the team just can't seem to get them both at the same time.

On Tuesday June 16^th, the Brewers will send out the very promising Yovani Gallardo to face Jeremy Sowers on the Indians. Sowers has been unable to put quality starts together back to back, while Gallardo has been really pushing the Brewers higher in the division. The Indians came out smashing the ball against Dave Bush and it will be interesting to see whether Gallardo can shut them down and allow the Brewers to stay ahead of the St. Louis Cardinals.
