Tim Stauffer stole the opening day start from the rest of the team as he was by far the best pitcher in all of Spring Training for the team, but after that there are a lot of concerns about the rotation. The Padres really need to have the kind of season where everything comes together if they are going to compete. If anyone falls off or injuries take their toll, it could be a long year in San Diego.
